More than Meets the Eye

Seth talked me into going to see Transformers while we were in Moscow. I usually don't go to these types of movies with him and send him with my cousins. I decided to be a good wife and go. I actually enjoyed it. I wasn't as giddy as the guy behind us, but I liked it. Seth loved it.

Weston's Brother

We went back to Moscow this past week for the 4th of July and to have an ultrasound. It's a boy! I am actually excited about it. I really wanted a girl, but the morning before the ultrasound I realized it would be fun for Weston to have a little brother. We already have all the clothes, so it's gonna be that much cheaper!!!

Freezer Jam

Teeny and I went with some other ladies to pick raspberries up in Carnation. We got the raspberries for $1.00/pound. Between the two of us we picked about 13 pounds. I was able to get twice as much jam as the picture shows. It's divine!

Defiance Zoo in Tacoma

Stephanie and I went to the zoo with the kids. Weston isn't too thrilled with small animals like cats and dogs. So he was a little shocked to see the elephants up close and personal. He pretty much stayed in the stroller cowering. We wouldn't have made it without the binki (as much as I hate it.)

Rough Game

Seth was in a summer softball league with his brothers. This is the result of a rough game. He got his thigh, knee and ankle. All for the love of the game.

Catering with Stephanie

Stephanie asked me to help her cater a ballroom event for her sister. I learned how to make some delicious desserts and little about catering.

Snoqualmie Falls

We went for a little adventure on Memorial Day to Snoqualmie Falls. Weston was too intrigued by the falls to look at the camera. We also saw a really big tree.

In Seattle

We're in Seattle for the summer. Seth is working with his brother for a construction company. He has a new story every night about the crazy people he works with. I get to stay home with Weston. Something I'm not really used to yet. Weston and I have been on the go for the past two years working for the apartments, so this summer is all new for me. We're having lots of fun with Grandpa and Grandma Jones.

Weston's New Bike

S'more fun with Grandpa Zirker

We love going to Grandpa and Grandma Zirker's for S'mores!

Easter Carnival

Our Stake had a Primary/Nursery Easter Carnival. I was in charge of making the Bunny Golf. Weston had lots of fun with the Easter Egg Hunt and games but he wouldn't get close to the Easter Bunny.

Go Vandals!

Grandma Jones came into town and decked us out in Vandal gear.

Lacey's 25th Birthday

When my birthday rolled around, I couldn't remember how old I was. It turns out I'm 25. My mom made the cake while Seth and I were at the doctor's. That's right we're expecting baby number 2 in November! Happy Birthday to me.

Monkey see, Monkey do...

Not only does he shave, but he curls his eyelashes too!

No More Blonde!

My sister-in-law, Kimbre, dyed my hair.
I love it dark, a little more nautral than the blonde.
One of these days I'm sure I'll go back to blonde.
It's fun to play.

Christmas 2006

For those of you haven't ever done cup stacking, you should. My family thought it was odd, but once you play you can't stop. We've since had competitions with our friends. One can break a sweat while cup stacking. Another fun activity-Sudoku. I got hooked during Christmas.

Weston's favorite place to play

Thanksgiving 2006

Our Thanksgiving Vacation started and ended with a bang. Right before we left, the police showed up and kicked in one of our tenant's front doors. She had fallen and was not able to get up. Seth had to repair the door frame before we could leave town. When we got to Seattle, things were going well until we got a call that two of the apartments had flooded the night before Thanksgiving. I was on the phone for 3 hours making arrangements for everyone. My parents ended up having to oversee things. Then, after Thanksgiving dinner, Weston became deathly ill and we ended up in the emergency room. When it was time to come home, we were delayed due to the snow and the pass was closed several times. We finally left on Monday and 30 seconds from home (seriously) we were t-boned. Another car slid through a stop sign and nailed us right where I was sitting. I was in the back next to Weston and got pinned between the door and car seat. Luckily, no one was seriously hurt. My back, neck and the car were the only things that got hurt. The car was totalled. It was a sad day to see it towed off.

Halloween 2006

The Man in the Yellow Hat.
Curious George and friends.
Stealing the Candy.
Our ward Halloween Party. Can you guess which one is not a sister missionary?

Weston likes Hummers too!

Grandma Jones got Weston some Hummer boxers for his birthday. He's a little shy about modeling them.
