Hello to all our peeps out there,
Koper is now among us. It started at 12:34 am Wednesday night or Thursday morning depending on how you like to look at it. Lacey's water broke and the rush to the hospital was on. We live less than a mile from the hospital and it is all down hill from our apartment. Lacey was a little concerned that I was going to drive with my busted up right foot, but all we did was coast through all the green lights to the hospital. We were admitted into the Family Birth Center at lovely Gritman Hospital and Lacey was progressing very well. We set up camp in our birthing room and the wait began. I fell asleep on the fathers coach and Lacey tried to sleep but could only doze in and out. At about 10:15 am I was awakened by the loving calls from Lacey saying, "Seth wake up, SETH WAKE UP!" It was game time Lacey started pushing at 10:23 am and six minutes later Koper was breathing the sweet, succulent air of freedom from the birth canal! We couldn't be any more happy to have him healthy and walking, talking, and doing quantum physics all while throwing for 425 yrds, rush. 200, 4 TD's in his latest football game. Okay, so of course the last part isn't true, but it could happen in the future.
Hope you all enjoy the pictures!
Love,
Seth, Lacey, Weston, and Koper

Mario!
I have been wanting to get Weston a Cabbage Patch Kid for awhile. So, today Grandma and Grandpa Zirker surprised Weston with a little CPK baby named Mario. It's been fun to watch Weston take care of him. I think it will be good practice for Weston for when our baby finally comes and also for him to have someone to play with when I'm with the new baby. And yes, I think it's just fine for boys to play with dolls, but I draw the line at barbies.
What is that???
So here's the big event of the week. On Mondays, Seth goes and plays indoor soccer at the University with a bunch of friends. Because he's an athletic kind of guy, I usually don't mind that he's always playing some sort of sport. However, this past Monday I actually asked him to stay home with the fam, but to no avail. A couple of hours later Seth came home limping, I thought he had sprained his ankle like he has done several times before. But he wasn't that lucky. It turns out he and some other kid were both going for the ball, the ball got kicked, and Seth's foot went straight into the ground dislocating it. Seth didn't want to wait for some student in training to come and put it back into place, SO HE DID IT HIMSELF! What a man. It has now been a week and he is able to walk around the house on it, but has to use crutches when he goes out and about.
Besides Seth's nasty foot, Weston has been sick this past week which means I also got sick. I haven't been sick in a long time so it hit me hard. Never mind the fact that I am way pregnant and due in a week. Because Seth hurt his right foot, he can't drive. At this point we are wondering how we are going to get to the hospital should I go into labor this next week. Only time will tell and I am actually excited to see how everything is going to turn out. We'll keep you posted.

Halloween 2007
We've been a little pre-occupied this week, so we're a little slow in getting our Halloween Pictures up. As you can see, we went as Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and Santa's Helper. The crutches were not originally part of the plan...On Monday, Seth was playing soccer and dislocated his ankle. I'll give more details in my next post. Besides Seth having a bum ankle, Weston was also sick and I was on the way to being sick. It always seems to work that way. Anyways, our ward party was way fun. We all decorated doors and had the children come trick-or-treating to the doors in the church. All the ward members got into this year which made it even better. Hope you all had a Happy Halloween.
