Koper's Birthday!

Koper wasn't so sure of this whole birthday thing. This is where he hid when it came time to opening presents. He eventually warmed up to the idea of unwrapping his gifts.

I decided that since Koper is named after a city in Slovenija where Seth served his mission, I would do a globe theme for his cake. Slovenija is near Italy, hence the boot shape representing Italy on his cake. Slovenija is shaped like a funny looking chicken, but that didn't translate too well in frosting. Koper, Slovenija is located where the large white star is on the cake. For those of you who don't know, Koper is pronounced C0-per and not Cooper.

He really enjoyed eating his cake! But then again, what doesn't he enjoy eating??? Thanks again everyone for all the gifts and cards!!!

How fun! That's a great idea for a cake! I feel so bad, he's not on my calendar yet so I completely spaced his birthday! Hope you all had fun!

I saw a story the other day on the news that said something about Koper, Slovenia. A Bosnian lady at work told me that Koper means dill, as in the herb. Any truth to that?
