My original plan for Ivan's hair was to let it go until he turned one. But it has been so out of control lately. Everytime we go somewhere, little old ladies can't help but run their fingers through it. As a result, it gets really oily fast. Gross, huh????
So, I decided to cut it today. I didn't realize how long it was until I took the first picture. It looks a little choppy right now, but I'm going to let it be and then trim it a little each day to even it out. I was afraid if I did anymore he would lose it all. Plus, he slept through most of the cut. Once he woke up he was hungry and nothing more could be done at that point. So, his first cut came about 36 weeks early, but he needed it.

I'm guilty of the same thing... you just can't not touch that hair! Next time just use clippers and buzz it off. Quick and easy.
I can't believe you cut his hair.
Disappointing Lacey ;)
Oh my gosh, he is adorable!!! That first picture is great, he reminds me of the littlest who on the movie Horton. I love his hair, both the before and after. So cute, I wish I could touch it through my screen :)
Oh my gosh! He's darling! I would run my fingers through his hair as well! ;-)
Can I just say he is one of the cutest little babies I have ever seen! I love his hair. Boy, you know how to make some darling children!
So cute! I love the wild hair and the new do.
