We are in the process of potty training Koper. We started from ground zero. I didn't want to have to use candy to get him to do his thing in the toilet, but that's what I've resorted to. Guess what? It's working!!!!! He gets candy for actually sitting on the toilet and then some more if he actually goes.
Of course Koper has an older brother who can not be left out. So, he gets candy if he cleans up his mess. Not exactly mother of the year material, but it works. Only problem is, Weston knows how to negotiate.

I don't know what to tell you about Weston, but potty candy worked wonders for me!! My mom always had a stash of candy corn for just that reason. I think she used it for all of her kids - as long as it's not a king size, I wouldn't worry about it.
